1. Definitions

• "Blewu", "we", "our" or "us" refers to the operator and provider of the Blewu application.
• "App" refers to the Blewu mobile application and its associated features and services.
• "User" or "you" refers to any individual who downloads, registers for or uses the App.
• "Services" refers to the features provided through Blewu, including location awareness, road-safety information, voice warnings and offline road information.
• "Content" refers to information, text, maps, road-network data, notifications and other materials made available through the App.

2. Eligibility

• You must be legally eligible to use the App under applicable laws.
• If you create an account, you must provide accurate information.
• You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Blewu complies with applicable laws and regulations.
• You must not allow another person to misuse your account or access it without authorization.

3. Nature of the Services

Blewu is intended to support road-safety awareness and help users make more informed decisions during journeys.

Depending on the features available, the App may provide:

• GPS-based location awareness.
• Road-network information relevant to journeys.
• Voice warnings and audio notifications.
• Offline access to selected road information.
• Other road-safety and driver-awareness features introduced through future updates.

Blewu is an assistance and awareness tool. It is not a substitute for a driver's judgement, attention, training, experience or responsibility.

4. Driver Responsibilities and Road Safety

Users who operate motor vehicles while using Blewu remain fully responsible for driving safely and complying with applicable traffic laws.

• Always obey official road signs, traffic lights, road markings and instructions from authorized officials.
• Maintain proper attention to the road and surrounding traffic.
• Do not interact with the App in a manner that distracts you while driving.
• Do not rely exclusively on digital warnings, GPS information or application notifications.
• Adjust your driving according to actual road conditions, weather, visibility and other circumstances.
• Do not use the App in any manner that creates danger to yourself or other road users.

5. GPS and Location Functionality

Certain Blewu features depend on GPS and device location services.

• You may need to grant location permission for location-dependent features to function.
• The accuracy of location information may vary depending on your device, GPS reception, environment and other technical factors.
• Location services may become unavailable or inaccurate in certain environments.
• You are responsible for managing application permissions through your device settings.

Blewu does not guarantee uninterrupted GPS availability or perfect location accuracy.

6. Voice Warnings and Notifications

Blewu may provide voice warnings and notifications to communicate relevant road-safety information.

• Voice warnings are intended to support user awareness.
• Audio output may depend on device volume, audio settings, application permissions and technical availability.
• Warnings may be delayed, unavailable, incomplete or inaccurate in certain circumstances.
• Users must not depend exclusively on voice warnings when making driving decisions.

You remain responsible for observing your surroundings and following official road instructions.

7. Offline Functionality and Road Information

Blewu is designed to support selected offline functionality, including access to certain road-network information without an active internet connection.

• Some information may be stored locally on your device.
• Offline functionality may be limited to the information already available on your device.
• Some features may require internet connectivity for authentication, updates or other online services.
• Offline information may not reflect recent road changes, closures, hazards or restrictions.

You acknowledge that offline information should be treated as supplementary guidance and not as a guaranteed representation of current road conditions.

8. Accuracy and Availability of Information

We aim to provide useful and relevant road-safety information through Blewu. However, information available through the App may come from different technical and data sources.

We do not guarantee that all information will always be accurate, complete, current or available.

• Road-network data may contain omissions or inaccuracies.
• GPS positioning may be affected by environmental and technical conditions.
• Voice warnings may not always be delivered at the expected time.
• Application features may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, network interruptions or technical problems.

Users should independently verify important information and exercise appropriate judgement when travelling.

9. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Conduct

By using Blewu, you agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful activities.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its systems or other users' accounts.
• Interfere with the operation, security or performance of the App.
• Copy, modify, reverse engineer or distribute the App except where permitted by applicable law or with our written authorization.
• Upload or transmit malicious code or harmful content.
• Use the App in a way that endangers other road users.

10. User Accounts and Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and associated phone number.
• You must not share verification codes or authentication credentials with unauthorized persons.
• You should notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• We may take reasonable steps to protect accounts and investigate suspected misuse.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the Blewu name, branding, application design, software, original content and related materials are owned by or licensed to us.

• You may use the App for its intended personal purposes.
• You may not reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit our protected materials without appropriate authorization.
• Third-party data, maps, libraries and other materials may remain subject to their respective owners' licences and terms.

12. Privacy and Personal Information

Your use of Blewu is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information.

By using features that require personal information or device permissions, you acknowledge that such information may be processed as described in the Privacy Policy and subject to applicable data protection laws.

13. Third-Party Services

Blewu may rely on third-party services, software, infrastructure and data providers to support its operation.

These services may be subject to separate terms, conditions and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the independent operation, availability or policies of third-party services, except to the extent required by applicable law.

14. Limitation of Liability

Blewu is provided as a road-safety awareness and information tool. It is not a guaranteed safety system, emergency response service or substitute for responsible driving.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be responsible for losses arising from:

• Inaccurate, incomplete or outdated road information.
• GPS errors, signal interruptions or device limitations.
• Delayed, missed or inaccurate voice warnings.
• Temporary application outages or technical failures.
• Decisions made by users who rely exclusively on information provided by the App.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

15. User Responsibility and Indemnity

You agree to use Blewu responsibly and comply with these Terms and applicable laws.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may be responsible for claims, losses or damages arising directly from your unlawful use of the App, misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.

16. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict or terminate access to Blewu where reasonably necessary, including where:

• A user violates these Terms.
• An account is involved in suspected fraud, misuse or unauthorized activity.
• Access must be restricted for security, maintenance or legal reasons.

Users may discontinue using the App at any time. Account deletion requests may be submitted using the contact information below or through any available in-App deletion feature.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana.

Any disputes arising from the use of Blewu shall be addressed through appropriate dispute-resolution procedures and, where necessary, the courts of Ghana having jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology or legal obligations.

Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date or last-updated date.

Where appropriate, we may notify users of significant changes.
